The village of Wickham Market will be celebrating the longest day of the year on Saturday 21st June on with their Summer Market on The Hill from 9am until 2pm. It will showcase the very best produce, gifts and crafts from over 30 local stallholders.
There will be a tempting range of food and drink including fresh coffee, handmade cakes, savouries, jams and artisan beer plus fudge, sweets, fruit and vegetables. As it will be summer, visitors can expect there to be flowers, gifts and crafts from talented producers and makers.
With an ice cream van and the Community Choir performing it promises to be a lovely day! Do come along and enjoy the Summer Market.
The event is organised by Wickham Market Parish Council and Leanne Castle, deputy parish clerk commented, “There has been a great deal of interest from local producers and makers, keen to be part of this special seasonal market. The Barley Brigg Morris Dancers will be performing during the morning and the Community Choir will be bringing their new repertoire to The Hill.”
